Wildflower Gilt 1868 Charles Field Haviland Limoges Hand Painted Cup & Saucer. A lovely, early cup and saucer hand painted with outstanding delicate wildflowers in multicolor shades throughout the saucer and cup. Gilt filigree is on top of a dark green with touches of blue on a scalloped rim.
The set is marked with the early CFH mark used by Charles Field Haviland from 1868 to 1881. Condition is good with the exception of one nick on rim of cup and hairline on inner cup. Some very light dots of gold loss but minimal. Hand painted florals and gilt filigree are beautiful.
Saucer measures 4 3/4 inch diameter. Cup measures 2 1/4 in height and width at top as well. A lovely set and displays well! I have many other porcelains listed now- be sure to take a look.
