Vintage Paragon Teacup and Saucer Cobalt Gold Gilt Rose. Beautiful and rare teacup, featuring cobalt blue background, colorful roses and gold gilding through out. The Paragon name was discontinued in 1992 and although some patterns remain in production under the Royal Albert name this was also discontinued.
Dimensions: Cup: 2-1/8 tall x 3-7/8 across the top x 1-7/8 across the base. Saucer: 5.5 Diameter x 1H x 2-3/4 across the base. This set is in very good vintage condition! There are no chips, cracks or crazing, there is one small paint loss (gold) point on the saucer, and a small blue smudge on the handle with few small spots on the outside the cup, tiny pain specs on the inside of the cup, within the design- please see pictures. There is a pink mark next to the makers mark in the underside of the cup.
The cup also appears not to ring. Kindly keep in mind that all of the items we sell are vintage or antique, and as such may have signs of wear in keeping with age and use.
