Vintage Meissen German "Golden Baroque" X-form porcelain trio (cup, saucer, & dessert plate) in white with elaborate gold leaf trim. Each piece has the Meissen crossed swords mark. The last three pictures show the marks of each piece which also have a double slash over the swords. After research, I found that two slashes by Meissen factory terms means tableware deemed of unsuitable quality from 1852 through 1870. Not sure that these beautiful pieces are that old, but are probably not of first quality. However, to my untrained eye, they are absolutely stunning and nice heavy quality. I did notice that the cup handle does have some gold worn away and where the cup sits on the saucer looks like some wearing as well, but not at all bad for the age.
Please review all pictures as they are part of my description. Cup measures approximately 4 1/2" wide from handle, saucer is 6" in diameter and dessert plate is 7 1/2 in diameter. This item is in the category "Pottery & Glass\Decorative Cookware, Dinnerware & Serveware\Cup & Saucers".
