RARE Hemmesley Cup and Saucer Made for Webb's Salon at Myer Emporium, 1925's. Quite RARE are vintage cabinet cup and saucer made by Hemmensley porcelain company in England.

The the cup and saucer was made between 1925 and 1930 by Hemmensley (England) for Webb's Salon, Myer Emporium, Melbourne (Australia). The Webb Salon was a store located at the Myer Emporium in Melbourne. They stocked mostly imported fine luxury goods for the Melbourne gentry and well heeled.

Are lavishly trimmed with hand painted enamel gold and a garland pink roses at interior and exterior of the cup. The cup and saucer in outstanding condition and I doubt it has ever been used. I see no chips, cracks, stains or repairs and no wear to the gilt. Cup and Saucer marked on the bottom as Hemmensley china, Made in England For Webb's Salon The Myer Emporium Ltd. Also in upper middle on the top of the crown number in red 13838 Y.
