Straus Limoges Pink Red & Blue Floral Raised Gold Demitasse Cup & Saucer Nice antique porcelain demitasse cup and saucer. Decorated with pink, red, and blue small flowers with raised gold leaves.
Has a relief molded and clouded / sponged gold and cream scrollwork design around the bottom of the cup and saucer. Gold gilding to the handle of the cup and along the edge. Marked on the reverse in red L. Limoges France with a circle. This is an overglaze mark used by Lazarus Straus & Sons between 1890 and the 1920s. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. The cup measures approximately 2 3/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 1/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 4 1/2 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
