RUSSIAN IMPERIAL PORCELAIN ST PETERSBURG CUP & SAUCER THE FARM PALACE 1914 (D). Russian porcelain cup and saucer. With an Alexander II monogram decor. This service was created in 1840/41 for use at the Farm Palace in the Alexandria Park at Peterhof. Each piece was monogrammed with the initials of the heir to the throne, Grand Duke Alexander (later Alexander II). Additions to the service continued to be made until the beginning of the twentieth century. Diameter cup 1914 : 9,8 cm. Diameter saucer 1914 : 15,2 cm. Condition : one crack for cup and saucer.
