Rare Coalport Jewelled Chicago Exhibition Tea Cup and Saucer Circa 1890. Item: A wonderful and rarely seen, jewelled, Coalport teacup and saucer, made for show at the 1893 Chicago Exhibition Worlds Trade Fair, where the finest of the world wares, were exhibited. The cup and saucer are beautifully hand decorated with turquoise jewels and in period design with raised gold gildings on a white ground. Coalport back stamp with Gold Chicago Exhibition over stamp. 5.0 cm, 50 mm.

L- 12.5 cm, 125 mm. Condition Report: Condition Report- professional restoration to a couple small fine hairlines to the cup.

Very minor to almost no crazing. As shown this set displays beautifully well.
