Here we present to you a Rare 1750 Meissen Porcelain Scene Scenic Cup & Saucer Pink Scale Porzellan Tasse. Up and saucer made by Meissen in about 1750. Both the cup and saucer have a handpainted large scene in the center of two gentlemen going about their business in a landscape surrounding as well as some small flowers but my favorite part is the superb pink or purple scale trim to rim with nice scroll work underneath. There is some gilding to the edges.
Not common that one sees this type of trim! The cup and saucer are in great condition with the gold trim on the edges worn and a tiny bit of wear to the saucer scene which is normal. The saucer is about 1.125 inches tall and 5.375 inches in diameter. The cup is 2.5 inches tall and 2.625 inches in diameter. Both pieces are marked with the under glaze blue crossed swords mark.
The saucer also has an impressed 64. Use the pictures as part of the description!! DO NOT MISS THIS GREAT CHANCE! We inspect all items and include a full description of what we observe.
