Old Paris porcelain cup & saucer Armorial Spanish Coat of Arms 19th century. Order of the Golden Fleece, likely a duke with military history. "Thank you" to the British College of Arms for their assistance. Floral, of course hand painted, on cobalt blue ground, lapis bleu.
So dark it looks almost black. Twisted handle and upside-down pear shape in the'Sevres' style.
Unmarked except for an incised worker's mark C or G in the saucer. Please see our shop for other pieces in this pattern. Cup capacity is only a little more than 4 ounces. The saucer is just 5 inches. Condition: Excellent but for gold wear.
