Nymphenburg Porcelain Pearl / King's Service Cup & Saucer Porzellan Tasse German

  
A mocha / espresso cup and saucer made by Nymphenburg in the 20th century. The original set is still in the possession of the family and thus any pieces of this design are later copies. The two pieces are 12 sided and have the pearl design to the very edge (refers to the little blue pearls painted on). Hand painted with a scene in black in the center/front as well as a superb gold and blue trim. The saucer is 1 inch tall and 4.625 inches in diameter. The cup is 2.125 inches tall with a diameter of 2.25 inches. Both are marked with the under glaze green shield mark with the name Nymphenburg underneath as well as some numbers, letters and impressed marks as shown. The scene on the saucer is labeled underneath as In Moosach. The saucer is in perfect condition but the cup sadly has a hairline to it as shown.
