Decorated with hand painted flowers in pink, blue, and red-orange with elaborate gold gilt scrollwork. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the bottom with an underglaze blue line. Probably Gottlob Nathusius of Althaldensleben between 1826 and 1860.
Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition. The cup measures approximately 4 1/4 inches wide including the handle x 3 7/8 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 3/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
