Hand Painted Dresden Teacups and Saucers, Set of 4

  

Delicate hand painted flowers combine with swirling gold accents on these beautifully fluted set of four teacups and four saucers. While two teacups feature a full bouquet on the front and a pair of single stem flowers across the back, the other two teacups are a botanical bonanza with full bouquets on front and back, a single stem flower in the center, and yet another flower waiting at the bottom of the cup! Each saucer displays a unique array of blossoming delights, no two alike. These lightweight, delicate cups and saucers are all in good estate condition, with no cracks or chips and extremely minimal paint wear.

The more heavily decorated cups feature a crown and Dresden hand painted on the bottom; there is a similar blue mark on the bottom of the other two cups but it is no longer legible. The saucers feature a blue mark on the bottom that is more visible on some than others, alongside a clear, Made for Maple & Co.

London" mark and hand painted "1012 E. Three of the four saucers have a very subtly incised 52 and 3.
