Empire Period Old Paris Porcelain Hand Painted Cup and Saucer c. Step back in time with this hand-painted porcelain cup and saucer from the early 19th century. The captivating cobalt blue and gold gilt design, coupled with a gracefully designed lion handle invites you to revel in the artistic fusion of colors and craftsmanship, making it a standout addition for collectors and enthusiasts alike. The underside of the cup is marked with a red inscription "Calle Maillard Italien ", with the numbers 12 or 16 and 19. Dimensions: Diameter of cup - 2 7/8" Height to top of handle - 4".

Diameter of saucer- 5 1/8. Condition: Very good antique condition wear consistent with age and use.

Minor gilt wear to the bottom rim of the cup and interior rim of the saucer. Minimal wear given the fact it is approximately 200 years old.

No cracks, hairlines, chips, crazing, restorations or discoloration. Please see pictures for details.
