Early 1800s Ridgeway Coalport Porcelain Cup & Saucer Chinoiserie Hand Painted

  

A very fine quality porcelain cup and saucer by one of the Stoke on Trent greatest : based on the shape, likely Ridgeway. Late 18th, early 19th century. Beautifully hand painted with ginko trees, landscapes, gates and church steeples heavily gold encrusted with gold medallions adorning both cup and saucer. Phenomenal condition with minor crazing and very minor gilt loss.

It's unbelievable how magnificent it looks.
