C. 1912 Mintons Pink Cockatrice 2 Demitasse Cup & Saucer Sets #9646 Globe Mark

  
Recent find from a prominent Connecticut estate. Offering a set of three, 2 demitasse cup and saucer sets by Mintons in the Pink Cockatrice pattern. The rest rims on the saucers and the bottom edge of the cups have some slight roughness. Possibly very tiny, micro chips and/or glaze firing blemishes; very slight divots.

Extremely tiny and very insignificant; really have no impact on these pieces. Other than that, no chips, cracks, or crazing. Very light evidence of use. The colors are vibrant and the glaze has a very nice, high sheen.

All pieces have the same Mintons Globe with wreath mark with just the word :England. " Most likely date to around 1912 when this mark was first used and just prior to the change to "Made in England.
