C. 1832 Royal Vienna Cup & Saucer with Young Girl Portrait Wien Porcelain Imperial
Offered for sale is this antique Royal Vienna porcelain cup and saucer, entirely hand painted including a very fine quality portrait of a young girl in a purple dress holding a rose. The impressed date code is for 1832. Please excuse the reflections in the pictures. The saucer is approximately 5 and 3/8ths inches diameter. The cup is approximately 2.5 inches tall, and the top of the cup (excluding the handle) is just over 3.75 inches diameter. There are no chips, no cracks, no fleabites, no repairs. This cup and saucer is almost 200 years old and has some expected gold wear, especially to the cup rim and handle, from normal use.
