Aynsley, England- A footed cup, saucer and plate trio with a glossy golden-yellow border and a delightful hand painted still life of orchard fruit and berries in the center, signed by the artist D. The mark dates these pieces to the 1930's, I believe. The coloring in the photos does not do justice to this set, the light just wasn't on my side this day - The border is an attractive golden-yellow. The cup has a 3 3/4" opening and the saucer is 5 1/8"D.. This trio has fine hand painted details. Condition is VG+ - no chips, cracks or staining - looks like it has never or rarely been used. A timeless feel good design which, I feel, will fit into most decors and is a. Great addition for a seasoned or new collector.
