Antique Worcester Trembleuse cup and saucer, First Period Dr. Height of cup 2 inches.

Diameter of saucer 4 inches. Both pieces molded with narrow ribs. The saucer with a raised ridge around the central well forming the tembleuse barrier. Painted blue lambrequin scroll border, #48.

Mark on base of cup and saucer; Underglaze blue crescent. Condition; chip on rim of saucer.

Small chips on foot rim of cup. The trembleuse was made to prevent spillage of of the contents caused by a shaky hand.
