This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in Austria by Royal Vienna around 1810. It has under glaze beehive markings on both pieces. The saucer is 5 3/4 inches in diameter. The cup is 3 inches tall with a diameter of 3 3/8 inches. The cup features an empire style handle that rises over the rim. It has a diamond shaped cartouche containing a scenic landscape. There are mountains, fields and ancient ruins. The gilding is tooled with vines and a filigree pattern. The saucer and back side of the cup have a kind of gothic lozenge pattern on a bright pink ground. There are gilded accents and trim.
