Antique Paris Porcelain Tea Cup & Saucer, Military
The saucer has a crack with restoration. The cup has one minor spot of gold loss.
This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in France by a Paris Porcelain factory in 1826. It has a signature, address and is dated.
2 3/4 tall and the diameter is 2 3/4. The front of the cup has a scene of a French military officer on a rearing, white horse. The officer is snapping his whip while hound dogs follow the scent.
The painting is very skilled with beautiful detail of the landscape. The ground color of the set is purple with empire styled borders. The interior of the cup is gilded to the bottom. There are additional gilded accents and trim. FOR OUR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US.
