Antique MintonOgden Goelet EstateNewport, RI Offers Welcome

  
I acquired this set from a local estate sale filled with antique items from abroad. Attached to the saucer is a typed label stating This demitasse from the estate of Ogden Goelet, Vanderbilt's neighbor in Newport, Rhode Island. (typo on spelling of Goelet, this is pictured).

Ogden Goelet died in 1897 and his widow in 1929. At the estate that I got this set from, had many items similar in dates and locations. I have no doubt they got this as they have recorded. The Davis Collamore & Co Ltd.

Minton china made for Tiffany or Minton china made for Davis Collamore &Co. The china was known by their name and there was only one pattern number that was exclusively made for the companies. Cup-2 1/8" Diameter 2" Tall. Some discoloration on cup shown in pictures. And a superficial fissure on the saucer.
