CONDITION: Slight stain on back of saucer. Small firing crack on bottom of cup, from manufacture, does not go through.
Set is in very good antique condition. This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in England by Minton in the mid 19. It has hand painted pattern marks, 2948 in red. The saucer is 4 3/4 inches in diameter and 1 inch high. The cup is 2 1/2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/4 inches. The saucer has a little pedestal base and the cup is barrel shaped. They are hand decorated with a pattern of lines and swirls using rust red paint. The handle and rims are trimmed with gold. The center of the saucer has a sun burst design. The design has similarities to work done by Christopher Dresser. FOR OUR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US.
