Antique Meissen Tea Cup & Saucer, Swan Handle
This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen between 1890 and 1910. The saucer has a diameter of 5 7/8 inches. The cup is 2 /14 inches high (without the handle) with a diameter of 2 3/4 inches. The cup features a swan neck handle. Bunches of hand painted summer flowers spread across the surface.
They are so perfectly detailed you can almost smell them. Of course, there is an insect or butterfly looking for nectar. There are fine gold accents on the rims and handle.
