Antique Lamm Dresden Coffee Cup, Over Sized, Meissen Style (no saucer)
CONDITION: Excellent, maybe slight wear to gilding. This porcelain cup was produced in Germany by the Ambrosius Lamm Dresden studio in the1890s.
It measures 2 3/4 inches tall with a diameter of 3 3/4 inches. The cup features a shape like Meissen used, with pointy rim and twisted branch handle. It is hand painted with garlands and swags of dainty, colorful blossoms.It is hand gilded with panels of trellis-like gold and lacy trim on the inside rim as well as gold accents on the rims and handle. The Post Office requires this.
