Antique KPM Tea Cup & Saucer, Scenic, Jeweled

  
There is an impressed date letter indicating this year. The saucer is 3 3/4 inches in diameter and 3/4 of an inch deep. The cup is 2 3/4 inches tall with a diameter of 3/4 of an inch.

The front of the cup has an early 19th century couple, hand painted in fine detail. The scene is surrounded by a gilded vine of leaves accented with tiny, translucent enamel beads or jewels. The vines swirl around the rest of the cup and around the border of the saucer. Is delicate gold trim on the rims and handle. Jeweled pieces by KPM are desirable and hard to come by.
