Offered here for your consideration is a fine antique jeweled Dresden porcelain footed demitasse cup & saucer. With 2-tone gold and raised gold jeweling throughout, a lilac or periwinkle iridescent border on a cream colored ground, and crimson highlights. All in all, simply a wonderful demitasse cup and saucer! Late 19th or Early 20th Century. It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.

There is some rubbing to the cup's gilding around the rim, the handle, the interior, and the pattern encircling the base. The saucer has some rubbing to the gilding here and there, particularly on its rim. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Marked to the bottom of both cup & saucer with a gilt rose / a blue underglaze crowned D / Orington Bros. New York for the retailer.
