CONDITION: Excellent, without flaws of any kind. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in France by Haviland Limoges around 1920. It was produced especially for the retailer Wright, Kay & Company of Detroit, Michigan. The saucer has a diameter of 5 5/8 inches. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 3 3/4 inches.
The cup features a blown-out puffy shape with a ribbon handle. The saucer has molded ribs and a scalloped rim. The cup is decorated inside and out.Both pieces have cobalt blue borders trimmed with ornate gilding. There is a transfer design of large pink roses and rose garlands. This design is highlighted with hand enamel accents. The set is highly decorative and very eye-catching.
