Antique Haviland Limoges Tea Cup & Saucer. Beautifully Gilded
CONDITION: Excellent, gilding on the rim of the cup appears to have slight wear, but that was how the gold was applied. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in France by Haviland & Co. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 3 5/8 inches. The porcelain is fine and translucent.
The cup is decorated inside and out with a transfer design of delicate pink flowers and fern-like garlands. There are rings of gilded snowflake-like medallions around the inside of the cup and around the well of the saucer. The rims are trimmed with double gold. FOR OUR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US.
