Antique French Empire Period Footed Cup Saucer Hand Painted Gold Gilt Stone Green Wreath Relief. A unique antique porcelain cup and saucer set that I believe is French and possibly as early as the Empire period. Impressed mark on base and bears an old label.
Fine hand painted all over gold gilt pattern mimicking stone with a green wreath in relief on cup and both sides of the saucer. Delicate gilt filigree pattern on inner rim of cup. Footed twig detail with greenery to cup. Saucer measures 5 1/2 inch diameter. Cup is 3 3/4 inch across at top.
Height is 2 1/2 inch. Most of the gold is in very good condition. There is slight gold loss in one area on verge line on saucer. An early French Paris Porcelain cup unique and lovely!
