Antique Early Spode Imari Cup with Deep Saucer Pattern 967 C1815s
Gorges and absolutely wonderful Antique Early Spode large Imari Cup with Deep Saucer. This beautiful cup is decorated in Japanese Imari style, Spode pattern #967. Pattern 967 is one of the most famous patterns made by Spode in the early 1800s.
It was first introduced in about 1807. This pattern is one of the finest and most spectacular ones made in the Regency period of English porcelain. Condition is beautiful for the age. Some minor wear to gilt, use marks, production related imperfections and wear on feet related to use. No cracks, large chips or repairs.
It is a stunning piece will make an amazing addition to any collection of antique European porcelain. Measures: cup 5 wide including the handle. Saucer 6.5" wide x 1.5" deep.
