This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Wehsener Dresden in the1890s. The saucer measures 5 5/8 inches. The cup is 2 3/4 inches tall with a diameter of 3 1/2 inches. The saucer has a raised well that rises up to meet the foot of the cup. The cup is gracefully shaped with a pedestal base and slender handle. It is beautifully hand painted with rings of colorful flowers and little flower buds scattered about. The interior of the cup has garlands of flowers draped around. These decorations are enhanced with exquisitely delicate gilding. Such detail and planning went into the production of this cup and saucer to make it extraordinarily beautiful. The Post Office requires this. This item is in the category "Pottery & Glass\Cookware, Dinnerware & Serveware\Cup & Saucers".
