Antique Dresden Demitasse Cup & Saucer, Scenic

  

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by a Dresden decorator in the 1880s. The letter "N" and the word Dresden are painted on the bottom. The saucer is 4 inches in diameter.

3/4 inches tall with a diameter of 2 inches. The cup features a double looped handle and the saucer is slightly scalloped. There are 2 vignettes on.

The cup and 3 on the saucer of lovers in garden landscapes. The scenes are finely hand painted. Raised gold ornamentation separates the vignettes. Intricate gilding lines the interior rim of the cup and borders on the saucers. The detail on this demitasse will delight you.
