CONDITION: Excellent, without defects of any kind. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Cauldon around 1900.
The saucer is 5 1/2 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 3/4 inches tall with a diameter of 3 3/4 inches. It is made of egg shell quality bone china. The decoration is very special.
Hand painted garlands of tiny pink roses and little blue flowers form heart shapes around cobalt blue ornaments. Gilded swags connect the decorations together. There are cobalt blue leaves with gilded accents.
Rich beaded gold borders trim the rims. The brilliant colors contrast beautifully against the pure white porcelain. The Post Office requires this.
