Antique 19thC Rauenstein Porcelain Miniature Doll Cup & Saucer Porzellan Tasse

  

A small cup and saucer from one of their famous doll / child sets made by Rauenstein in first half of the 19th century - probably close to 1850. The piece is hand painted with the famous under glaze blue strawflower design and the paste has the ribbed design to it quite typical for Thuringia area makers. Both pieces are marked underneath with the R-n mark as shown.

The set is in perfect condition. The cup is 1.25 inches tall and 1.75 inches in diameter.

The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and 3.125 inches in diameter. German Germany Thueringen Straw flower Strohblumen Miniatur Kindertasse Puppentasse kid's Strohblume.
