Antique 19thC Fuerstenberg Porcelain Portrait Cup & Saucer Porzellan Tasse

  
A superb cup & saucer made by Fürstenberg in the early 19th century. Both the cup and saucer have some superb gilding on it. The set is very well painted and the shape is superb as well. Doesn't hurt that the set is in superb condition with almost no wear at all. Karl Ludwig Friedrich von Baden, born June 8,1786 , died December 8,1818, was married to Stephanie de Beauharnais (adopted daughter of Napoleon). He ruled from 1811 to 1818. The cup is 3.5 inches tall plus the handle top and 3 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.25 inches tall and 5.375 inches in diameter. Marked with the Furstenberg under glaze blue script F mark as well as the number 31 and some sort of impressed mark under the saucer.
