A really nice cup and saucer made by Worcester in the 18th century. The set has a nice fluted shape to it and is hand painted with some floral garlands and other flower designs plus a superb cobalt blue ground to the edge with some nice gold trim to it. A bit of a gold design to the handle as well. Both pieces are in great condition with just the usual minor firing issues like tiny firing spots.
The cup is 1.875 inches tall and has a diameter of 3 inches. The saucer is just over 1 inch tall and has a diameter of 5.375 inches. Each piece is marked with their under glaze blue moon as shown. If you like my goodies have a look at my other auctions for a lot more top maker pieces like Derby, Sevres and so on.
