A great saucer made by Volkstedt around 1765. It is hand painted with a great floral arrangement in the center as well as three single flowers, has their typical ribbed design to the paste and a gold trim to the edge. The saucer is in perfect condition with the usual manufacturing flaws. It is marked underneath with the crossed hay forks as well as an impressed number or letter - hard to make out. The saucer is 1.25 inches tall and 5.125 inches in diameter.
