The artist mark for Fountaine J. Who was a painter from 1752 until 1807 on the cup and Theodore who worked there from 1765 until 1779 as a decorator and gilder.
There is another artist mark that looks like a comma on the saucer but I cannot figure out who it was for. Typical incised marks to the paste and the saucer has the little hole from the firing process. The cup is in superb condition with just a very minor touch of wear to the gilding. The saucer displays perfectly but has two flat outer rim edge chips that were gilded in to hide them better.
The cup is just a bit over 2.25 inches tall and a tiny bit over 2.125 inches in diameter. The saucer is 1.25 inches tall and 4.625 inches in diameter.
