Syracuse China Railroad Travel Presidential Roosevelt China Cup & Saucer B
SYRACUSE CHINA - Old Ivory - Rare U. Presidential train cup (2 1/4" tall) and saucer (6" wide) in amazing condition - gold embossed presidential seal decoration - alternating star and 3 bar (stripes) design on the rim - emblem over the eagle contains 13 embossed stars representing the 13 original colonies - plate was possibly used in the dining/conference room on the Ferdinand Magellan (the Presidential rail car custom rebuilt in 1942 by the Pullman Company) for use by Franklin D. Roosevelt and subsequent presidents through Dwight D. I do not know the materials used in production, and I cannot guarantee an items durability. Antique porcelain, glass and other vintage items are fragile and may not be best suited for use.
