Stunning Spode China England Lancaster Cobalt R8950 Tea Cup & Saucer 1st Mint
A stunning fine bone china tea cup and saucer from Spode in the Lancaster Cobalt pattern, R8950. Please see full description for further information.
This pattern has an indented rim and is richly embellished with gilt including a raised beaded border. Lancaster, one of Spode's most prestigious patterns, was the closest in design to the cobalt and gold pattern, R4332, used by the White Star Line on the.
Lancaster was discontinued following the closure of Spode in 2009. All of our pieces are English Spode. In near mint condition and appears unused.
Any bright white marks are light reflection. 10cm/4" in diameter and 5.5cm/2¼" high. Appropriately marked with the Spode backstamp.
