Bing & Grondahl B&G Christmas Holiday Service for 6 Cup & Saucer & Dessert Plate. The price is for this very rarely found complete dessert service for 6 made by Bing & Grondahl/ B & B, in the Holiday pattern. The Holiday pattern produced a different scene each year.
This set consists of a flat cup, saucer and dessert plate for each year 1997 through 2002, so there is a total of six flat cups, six saucers and six dessert plates. I took photographs with and without the flash trying to capture the beautiful pattern and wonderful condition of this set for your careful consideration. Please refer to the photographs.
The measurements of five of the flat cups are: over 8 ounce capacity: 3 inch rim height: 3 1/2 inch rim diameter. One cup is slightly larger and the measurements are: 10 ounce capacity: 3 inch rim height: 3 5/8 inch rim diameter. All six saucers have a 5 7/8 inch diameter and the six dessert plates measure either 7 1/2 inch diameter or 7 5/8 inch diameter.
This beautiful Bing & Grondahl Holiday service for 6 is in good displayed used condition: no chips: no cracks: no discoloration: few if any signs of usage. The price is based on the availability and condition of this set.
