Antique Spode 967 Porcelain Imari Japan Pattern Trio Cup & Saucer (A)
This is an antique Spode Imari colored porcelain trio which includes a tea cup, a coffee cup and saucer in the 967 pattern, sometimes called the Japan pattern. This dates between 1807 and 1833. Hand painted red mark 967 on the cups. In very good antique used condition free from crazing, crazing, alterations and repairs. There is some faint gold fading to the handles and top edge of the cups. As an antique, this may have some typical and expected factory original manufacturing imperfections possibly including glaze dimples or peppering, dark glaze specs, variations in pattern color or gilding, or other very minor flaws. None are visually distracting, unless mentioned above. Maximum measurements are approximately 2 1/4 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches diameter for the larger cup. Approximately 2 1/2 inches tall by 2 5/8 inches diameter for the smaller cup.
