Antique English Porcelain COALPORT 1835 tea cup and saucer trio teacup cobalt
RARE ENGLISH TEA AND SAUCER MADE BY COALPORT. Offering this amazing piece of history stunning cup and saucer.
The marking on the back of the teacup the name is. George M Passenger, China and Glass Merchant, 9 High Street. He is also shown in a Southampton trade directory for 1859 as George Mason Passenger, glass & china dealer.
Passenger was the Mayor of Southampton in 1875 who could have been his son. Did not see any crazing or hairlines , no chips and cup pings. Stunning cobalt blue ground color all painted and a second color or beige. And gold gilt work as well amazing piece , this is a true English Trio. All the pieces are in super shape for the age.
